Alabama LB Moses again says he'll return for '20 season

por Gary Benefield (2020-03-26)

ETHEX Corporation Risk of Death From Overdose Recall of ...The saga of Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses took another twist on Friday as he announced he would return to the Crimson Tide next season instead of entering the NFL draft.

Moses, who missed the season with a knee injury, made a similar declaration on Monday, only to have his father -- a lawyer -- post a curious letter on Moses' official Instagram account on Thursday saying the decision hadn't been made. A loss-of-value insurance policy, issued before the injury, was one of the issues that had to be settled, Edward Moses III said, before his son could decide on his future.

But Friday, the younger Moses seemed to leave no doubt.

"My family and I have decided that the best decision is for me to return to Alabama and finish my college education," he began his Twitter post. "

Football is not who I am; it is what I do. Life after football is what I'm most concerned about, and I want to ensure I can put myself in the best possible position to succeed in life, fulfill my goals and make my dreams come true."

He continued later: "The 2020 season will be very personal to me, and I want nothing more than to finish my Alabama career in style. This program's goal is to compete for championships and next year will be no different. Next season isn't about my draft stock or money -- it's about grinding with my brothers and winning another national title."

Earlier this week, before the twist, coach Nick Saban said he was happy to have Moses back.

"I think the big thing with Dylan, he wanted to be a part of the team," Saban said. If you adored this article and you simply would like to receive more info pertaining to and every part of Idaho. "He wanted to be a leader of the team, he wanted to come back and play well for Alabama and that was probably the deciding factor for him. Obviously, he's a great player, great person and a good leader and he can make a significant impact on making us better next year."
